Established in 1971, the Lake Wales Area Chamber of Commerce was formed by local merchants and citizens to strengthen ties within the business community, and to capitalize on these relationships to help create an environment where Lake Wales businesses and residents may grow, prosper, and enjoy a high quality of life! Our Chamber “leads the way” as an advocate for advancement and expansion of business opportunities for current and future entrepreneurs by providing training, venues for interaction, and access to essential information from local and state leaders.

However, as the years passed, local leaders made an aggressive move that would not only give our organization more resources, but also the ability to help Lake Wales truly become the “Crown Jewel of the Ridge.”

With economic vitality being essential to robust growth, in 2013 the Chamber incorporated the Economic Development Council into the organization to help create jobs, increase revenue streams, and to support the city’s effort to provide quality services to the residents of Lake Wales. This amazing mixture of experience, wisdom, and unified vision for the future ensures that local businesses have the resources needed for Lake Wales to succeed and flourish in the years to come!”
