Lake Wales Main Street

Lake Wales Main Street, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is revitalizing Lake Wales historic downtown into an economically strong and diverse core by implementing the Lake Wales Connected vision plan.

To date, one of Lake Wales Main Street’s biggest accomplishments is initiating a downtown vision plan.  In 2019 Lake Wales Main Street partnered with the Lake Wales CRA in hiring Dover Kohl & Partners to develop a holistic Downtown Plan and a Northwest Neighborhood Plan.  The outcome is the Lake Wales Connected plan that picks back up on a 100-year-old vision by the Olmsted brothers to realize Lake Wales as a “City in a Garden.”
